The Branch 'catchment area' is: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, (Greater) London, Middlesex and Surrey. We also welcome members from Oxfordshire.
All members of the RAF Police Association, whether allocated to the London Home Counties Branch (LHC) or not, are eligible to attend our meetings. Members living outside the 'catchment area' may, if they wish, request to be allocated to the branch. We currently have members living well outside the 'catchment area' who are branch members because they find it convenient to travel to our meetings and enjoy joining in Branch Activities.
Branch subscribed members.
The LHC Branch operates a branch subscription roll, whereby Branch members are invited to make an annual subscription, to assist in the running of the Branch. Branch Subscribed Members receive a copy of our excellent quarterly branch magazine, 'The NoteBook'. Branch Subscribed Members will also receive details of activities and minutes of meetings. They will receive priority for inclusion on visits and activities. They are most welcome to attend our meetings.
Branch allocated members.
Members of the Association who are allocated to the LHC Branch (by the National Secretary), either by geographical location or by request, yet choose not to become a subscribed member, will receive details of activities and minutes of meetings, although they will not receive The NoteBook. Allocated members are most welcome to attend our meetings.
Branch Associates (Associate Members).
The branch welcomes relatives, friends or other suitable persons who have, or wish to have, an affinity with the RAF Police Association as Branch Associates. This is particularly appropriate for spouses/partners who may then attend meetings together or individually. Branch associates do not have voting rights.
Current Branch Subscriptions.
Branch subscription (in addition to a member's Association subscription) - £5pa
Branch associate subscription (1st year includes joining fee) - £3pa
All subscriptions become payable on 1st Jan annually, or on joining. No reductions.
